Sailing in the Caribbean: Grenadines Cup

Day 1:

Meeting point at Le Marin marina at 6 p.m. Greeting and briefing by the crew before moving into the cabin. Dinner can be held either on land or on board.

Day 2:

After procuring food rations we will set sail for St. Lucia in the late morning. After a five hour sail we will arrive at Marigot Bay where you can take a stroll on land before enjoying dinner on board.

Day 3:

Visit Saint Lucia where you have the oppotunity of taking a bus to the south where the yact will lie at anchor. You can alternatively sail there in order to discover a variety of places to drop anchor.

Day 4:

After seven hours of sailing we enter the harbor of Grenadine Islands in the afternoon in order to drop anchor at Admirality Bay. There are a lot of stores and restaurants that invite you to enjoy a snack, shop and relax. Afterwards the cruise is continued for approximately one hour in the direction of Petit Nevis.  

Day 5:

Once clearance at the customs are done, we are ready for a visit of the town. Once the fuel and water has been refilled, the cruise then continues for around one hour to Petit Nevis. Afterwards sails are set towards Mustique where you will arrive in the evening. You will anchor at Grand Bay at a long and white beach. In the evening you get the chance to have dinner in the famous Basile's bar if you wish so.

Day 6:

Mustique is the Jet Society island! Take the day to discover the island. After the eventful day on land we will set sail towards Mayero in the afternoon. We drop anchor at Salt Whistle Bay.

Day 7:

 

We visit the village of Mayero. The view on all Tobago cays from the highest mountain is just breath taking. Afterwards we sail two hours from Mayero to Union. Once we have arrived there, there is the opportunity of filling up our food supplies. We have dinner and spend the night on board.

Day 8:

We set sail in direction of Petit St. Vincent which we will explore through hiking.

Day 9:

After two hours of sailing we reach Tobago Cays where we unwind with swimming and snorkeling.

Day 10:

We spend the whole day in Tobago Cays. At first we are going to see different islands and later we discover incredible underwater worlds when we go snorkeling in a coral reef.

Day 11:

 

After a morning on the Cays we continue our turn in direction of Canouan Island (roughly one and a half hour of sailing). We explore the island after landing.

Day 12:

Return in direction of Bequia.

Day 13:

After the formalities for departure have been taken care of, our trip back to St.Lucia begins. After seven to eight hours of sailing we will drop anchor there at the Pitons.

Day 14:

After a turn full of events along the coast of St.Lucia we arrive at Martinique and spend the last night on board there.

Day 15:

We return in the morning to Marina Le Marin, which takes about an hour. Check-out time is at around 11:00 a.m.
