18.06.18 - VPM fleet after hurricane Irma

to top

Almost a year after "Irma", VPM has revised the fleet: yachts have been shifted to other bases, and new acquisitions have replaced the boats that have been lost in the hurricane.

For this reason we would like to show you what is new on our bases

Caribbean:
Our fleet is increasing by several bareboat 2018 yachts of the types:
Lagoon 40, Lagoon 42, Lagoon 380

A number of charters have meanwhile taken place from Saint Martin and huge efforts are still being made to not only restore the Anse Marcel Marina to it’s original beauty, but also provide an even nicer harbour.

Seychelles:
The bareboat fleet has expanded immensely. Clients who have previously sailed and loved their old friends Lagoon 421 “Leonor” (2015) and Lagoon 450 “Maui” (2016) in the Caribbean, can sail them in the Seychelles as of November together with their new companion: brand new Lagoon 40 “Ubah”.

Furthermore, a pristine Lagoon 50 “Ocean” will complement our cabin cruise fleet so that we can continue catering for the high demand of our “Cocktail Creole”. This yacht helps us provide both: more available cabins as well as the distinct option to book the yacht for a crewed “exclusive cruise” for smaller groups as well.

13.12.17 - Planting Hope in British Virgin Islands

to top

Hoffnung_pflanzen_Palmen_BVIsYou have certainly seen the pictures of the BVI after the two hurricanes Irma and Maria in September - pictures of the destruction of houses, infrastructure and the beautiful nature of the BVI.

After helping local people with a first fundraising campaign, nature is now coming into focus.
Many coconut palms on the islands have been destroyed and it will take years until they will provide shade on the beaches. We support the project "planting hope" and want to work with you to create palm-fringed beaches.

With the BVI Tourist Board on Tortola and the local school children large palm trees are to be planted. The bigger the better.

We at Barone Yachting are convinced that we can do it together! Support this project with donations of 25, 50, 100 or 1000 €.

05.04.16 - Cabin cruise: Cocktail Praslin

to top

Cabin-cruise in the Seychelles from Mahe to Praslin

Sail from Mahé to Praslin on board of a beautiful catamaran between 44 - 78 ft. which provides you with comfort and stability. Including Full board, drinks package and much more. Explore 6 Islands in 5 days!

Mahé - St. Anne - Praslin - La Digue - Coco - Curieuse - Praslin

Departure day: Saturday from Mahé

Arrival day: Wednesday at Praslin

Our recommendation:

Spend the first 3 - 4 days in a Hotel in Mahé, get used to the temperature and discover the largest island of the Seychelles with one of the smallest Capital Cities in the world, which is located both exactly near the ocean and at the same time at the foot of the mountains. You have the opportunity to experience the culture of the Seychelles, as almost 90 % of the population of the Seychelles live in Mahé.

The following days you can explore the Seychelles from the most beautiful side, the sea. Spend 5 days / 4 nights on a sailing catamaran and visit a different island every day. You have the opportunity to reach the most beautiful snorkeling areas in the Seychelles, which can only be accessed with a yacht. (Snorkeling equipment included!)

To end your vacation we recommend a 3 - 4 day Hotel stay in Praslin. Praslin does not only have some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, such as the Anse Lazio, but it also offers famous attraction such as the Vallée de Mai with the endemic Seychelles coconut: the Coco de Mer.

Flights, Transfers as well as accommodation from a Guesthouse to a 6 Star Hotel can be organised, planned and booked with us.
