Itinerary Malta - Comino - Gozo

Day 1: Valetta - Marsaskala

Arrival at the marina. Setting sail in eastern direction in the Bay of Marsaskala. You drop anchor here and let the day come to a close in a relaxed atmosphere. Maybe you want to visit the popular, modern St. Anne Parish Curch or you want to go shopping at the long shopping mile. There are many restaurants where you can relax and eat dinner.

 

Day 2: Marsaxlokk

After a harmonious breakfast you continue on your way in direction of Marsaxlokk in order to see the famous Sunday market. Here you get fresh fruits, vegetables, fish, and all kinds of other things. After your visit to the market, the Island Bay located to the west awaits you. You can go swimming or snorkeling and see many colourful fishes. Afterwards we drop anchor at Marsaxlokk in order to spend the night there.

Day 3: Blue Grotto - Ghajn Tuffieha

In the morning you continue in the direction of Blue Grotto. Because you can't drop anchor here, you should go on an exploration trip with your dhingy into the grotto. After that you continue your trip to Ghajn Tuffieha via the rock of Ghar Lapsi which is protected by decree. You drop anchor to spend the night here.

   

Day 4: Popey Village - Blue Lagoon

Today you continue on your way to Popeye Villagewhere the Popeye movie was filmed in 1979.The setting is still there today and we think it's worth a visit. Also for children it's worth seeing because of it's lots of attractions e.g. a water trampolin.

Day 5: Blue Lagoon - Gozo

Afrer a recreative breakfast you can go swimming, snokling or just take a long sun bath. Snokling here is very interessting. You'll see many fishes and maybe even a sepia. After this relaxing afternoon you continue to Gozo. Depending on the weather you can either cruise around the island or make a stop at the marina at Mgar.

Day 6:  Malta (Spinola Bay)

Today it's time for a change. You sail to Spinola Bay. This bay is situated directly in the party district of Malta. Numerous clubs, bars, and pubs invite you to enjoy. Or you can go to have dinnner in one of those beautiful restaurants where you can let your sailing trip pass by before your inner eye again. Adviceable is the typical Maltese meal named "Fenek". It's a tradiditional prepared rabbit in a tomato-garlic dip with lots of Maltese vegetables.

Day 7: Grand Harbour Marina

Today your sailing trip is over. You return to the Grand Harbour marina Paceville and you start back for home.
